Mark R. Dubis has over 26 years in the automotive, marketing, advertising, and transportation fields. He has worked in executive, management, and sales roles, developing marketing and e-Commerce strategies, web development projects, and other business development strategies. As a co-founder of Carfolks, Mark saw an opportunity to help good auto dealers promote their people and their services so auto buyers and consumers better understood their vehicle purchase options. Carfolks was developed as a powerful and engaging way to provide more accurate information to consumers and help them connect with their local dealers. Developing a weekly television program that’s family friendly with great auto and truck segments was one more way to entertain and inform consumers about the auto industry.
Prior to these activities he held the position of Editor of Digital Dealer Magazine, where he wrote-about the state of technology, eCommerce and strategies that helped dealerships advance their Web agenda’s. He also launched six weekly newsletters for Dealer Communications targeted towards the various departments in the dealership and re-designed their website for more robust content. Serving as the Interim Executive Director of the Automotive Association of Internet Sales Professionals (AAISP), he coordinated the first two AAISP Conferences in Nashville, TN. These set up the process that has continued for the highly successful Digital Dealer Conferences held twice a year.
Additionally over the years, Mark has worked for some of the largest automotive retailers in South Florida and then utilized his entrepreneurial skills by owning and managing his own vehicle leasing company for eight years. The South Florida Business Journal included his company, Arrow Motorcar on their list of the Top 25 leasing companies in the market.
